A premier surgeon in his field, Stephen R. Guy is a kidney, pancreas and liver transplant surgeon specializing in multi-organ transplantation for over fifteen years.

Dr. Guy was instrumental in the development of laparoscopic living donor nephrectomy for kidney transplantation, a minimally invasive surgery for individuals donating a kidney.

His clinical and research interests include living donor kidney transplantation, long-term health after transplantation, and novel immunosuppressive techniques. 

Prior to joining Hahnemann's transplant team, Dr. Guy served as the chief of the Division of Transplant Surgery at Lourdes Medical Center in Camden, New Jersey.  He has also served as an attending surgeon at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City and St. Barnabas Hospital in Newark, New Jersey.
