Dr. Jiang has a strong background in clinical research, with academic interests in menopause medicine, cervical cancer screening, medical education, and minimally invasive surgery. He completed his first Ob/Gyn residency in Shanghai, China, in 1998 and his second at UMDNJ–Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 2010. He is a graduate of the 2013 class of the APGO Academic Scholars and Leaders (ASL) Program.
Jiang has six years of real-world experience in statistical analysis within the pharmaceutical industry. He is the recipient of multiple institutional and national teaching awards, including the APGO Excellence in Teaching Award, the SASGOG Faculty Award, and the CREOG National Faculty Award for Excellence in Resident Education.
Jiang has co-authored one book, published seven book chapters, and authored over seventy peer-reviewed articles. Jiang serves on several editorial boards, including Menopause and Pearls of Excellence for SASGOG.
Jiang was recognized by the National Committee on the Clinical Utility of Treating Patients with Compounded Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy for his significant study findings on the safety of hormone pellets. His work was subsequently referenced in the clinical guideline The Clinical Utility of Compounded Bioidentical Hormone Therapy, developed by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine.
Jiang is actively involved in multiple national professional organizations and, as of 2025, serves as Chair of the ASCCP Education Committee.
