Karen Greenberg, DO, FACOEP, is a board-certified emergency medicine physician highly specialized in the treatment of neurologic emergencies. She is director of the Neurologic Emergency Department at Crozer-Chester Medical Center. She is a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians, which recognized her innovations to speed critical treatment to patients experiencing acute ischemic stroke, awarding her its inaugural Practice Innovation Award.

Karen Greenberg, DO, FACOEP, is a faculty member at Drexel University College of Medicine. She lectures at emergency medicine and neuroscience conferences throughout the nation, and serves as an oral board examiner with the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine. She serves as faculty for Virtua Healthy System and Kennedy University Medical Center in South Jersey, Aria Jefferson residency program in Philadelphia, and is a clinical assistant professor for the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Research Overview

Dr. Greenberg has advanced the state of neurologic emergency treatment and has published research in both the American Journal of Emergency Medicine and Mathews Journal of Emergency Medicine. She is widely published on the topic of neurologic emergencies, especially stroke.
