Edward Gracely, PhD, is an associate professor of family, community and preventive medicine. He serves as the preclinical curriculum coordinator and Biostatistics/Epidemiology course director. In this role, he teaches statistics and research design to medical students in the traditional and problem-based learning tracks, gives talks to residents and fellows, and provides consultation to researchers in a wide range of basic science and clinical fields. He served as a faculty member at the former Medical College of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Gracely has a joint faculty appointment in the Dornsife School of Public Health at Drexel University, where he has been involved almost since its inception, playing a substantial role in the design and implementation of the MD/MPH curriculum and the original statistics and epidemiology blocks in Year 1. He is currently course director and instructor in the Dornsife School's Introduction to Biostatistics course, a member of the school's Educational Coordinating Committee and chair of the Master's Project Oversight Committee.

Dr Gracely is primarily a consulting statistician, although he has published first-author work in several areas. He works with a wide array of researchers at Drexel and sometimes outside institutions. He has over 150 consulting and personal publications, plus some book chapters, presentations, and so on.
