Rita McKeever, MD, is a board-certified emergency medicine physician at Roxborough Memorial Hospital in Philadelphia, Pa. She has additional training in emergency management of radiation disasters and medical management of chemical and biological casualties. Dr. McKeever completed her residency in emergency medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine. Following residency, she completed a fellowship in medical toxicology at Drexel University College of Medicine. She also holds certification as a medical review officer.

Rita McKeever, MD, is an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine. Dr. McKeever is active in both undergraduate and graduate medical education at Drexel University College of Medicine. She was involved in the development of the College of Medicine's pharmacology curriculum in 2014 and 2015. At the graduate medical education level, she provides medical toxicology didactic lectures for emergency medicine residents and fellows. Dr. McKeever also provides guest lectures to other specialties and subspecialties.
