Anthony Mazzeo, MD, FACEP, FAAEM, is a board-certified emergency medicine physician at Mercy Catholic Medical Center. He previously served as the associate director, and then the medical director of the Mercy Fitzgerald Emergency Department from 2008 to 2015. He also serves as the co-lead for the Trinity Health System Emergency Care Collaborative.

Dr. Mazzeo has a clinical interest in emergency department operations, patient flow and patient satisfaction, quality and patient safety, emergency medicine coding and reimbursement, and health economics.

Anthony Mazzeo, MD, FACEP, FAAEM, is a clinical associate professor of emergency medicine, and vice chair, Mercy Health Systems, at Drexel University College of Medicine. He is also the chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Mercy Catholic Medical Center. He provides daily instruction for emergency medicine residents on rotation at Mercy and lectures during grand rounds. Dr Mazzeo also interviews residency applicants. He serves as a clinical preceptor for the Clinical Skills course at Drexel, an advisor and mentor for emergency medicine residents and pathway students, and an instructor for advanced cardiac life support.

Dr. Mazzeo's academic and research interests include emergency department operations, patient satisfaction and burns. He is an oral board examiner for the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
