Research Overview

After her residency, Dr. Bhat completed a research fellowship at Drexel University College of Medicine. During this time she worked on the role of astrocyte senescence in aging and Alzheimer's disease. During her hematopathology fellowship, she was involved in the investigation of the expression of SNARE proteins in hematolymphoid malignancies.
