Change of Curriculum and Status
Change of Curriculum/Program
Students who wish to change their graduate curriculum/program of study should consult with the graduate academic advisor of the program to which they intend to switch, as well as inform their current advisor. A review of completed coursework, such as a transfer credit evaluation, may be necessary to determine proper course placement and academic plan of study/time to completion according to departmental policies and guidelines.
A change of curriculum/program requires the advisor to submit a Change of Curriculum and Status (CCS) request via the Advisor Visit Tracking (AVT) system and provide a new or updated academic plan of study. Students must meet degree program requirements in effect at the time of program change, not at the time of original matriculation.
Change of Enrollment Status
Students who wish to change their enrollment status (full time, part time, etc.) or classification (matriculating, non-matriculating, etc.) should contact their graduate academic advisor. A change of status requires the advisor to submit a Change of Curriculum and Status (CCS) request via the Advisor Visit Tracking (AVT) system and provide a new or updated academic plan of study.
A Change of Curriculum and Status may have additional financial implications. Students should consult with Drexel Central prior to making any changes.
See Financial Aid Terms and Conditions for Graduate and Professional Students.
International Students on F-1 or J-1 Visas must consult with International Students and Scholars Services (ISSS) prior to requesting a change.
