Changes to monthly Windows update notifications
Security updates are deployed to Drexel-managed PCs each month. If a restart is required, your device will attempt to automatically restart outside of normal business hours.
Starting March 6, 2023, you’ll receive a notification from Software Center when your device requires a restart to complete updates.
We’re making this change to improve patching compliance and to help keep your Windows device secure. You can choose to restart immediately, or you can snooze the notification and choose your own snooze interval. You’ll be notified again after the snooze period elapses.
