Tech Alert: Delay macOS Sequoia upgrades for Drexel-owned Macs

September 16, 2024

Faculty and professional staff with Drexel-owned Macs should NOT upgrade to macOS Sequoia (15), scheduled to be released today, September 16, 2024. Drexel IT must test critical apps and systems for compatibility before macOS Sequoia is made available.

If you receive a prompt to update or see the update as available on your Drexel-owned Mac, we strongly recommend that you DO NOT upgrade. We'll announce when macOS Sequoia is available once compatibility is confirmed.

Drexel-owned Macs can be upgraded to macOS Sonoma (14). Learn how to upgrade to macOS Sonoma in Self Service.
