Tech Alert: Delay macOS Tahoe upgrades for Drexel-owned Macs

Faculty and professional staff with Drexel-owned Macs should NOT upgrade to macOS Tahoe (26), released September 15, 2025. Drexel IT must test critical apps and systems for compatibility before macOS Tahoe is made available.

If you receive a prompt to update or see the update as available on your Drexel-owned Mac, we strongly recommend that you DO NOT upgrade. We'll announce when macOS Tahoe is available once compatibility is confirmed.

Drexel-owned Macs can be upgraded to macOS Sequoia (15). Learn how to upgrade to macOS Sequoia in Self Service.
