Evening Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medical
Medicine (MD & Graduate Programs)
The part-time Evening Post-baccalaureate Pre-medical certificate (PMED) program allows individuals with a non-science baccalaureate degree to take courses to prepare for medical, veterinary, dental, Physician Assistant, podiatric, chiropractic or other allied health professional schools while continuing to work or fulfilling other daytime responsibilities. This program also allows individuals who took science courses many years ago to revisit the sciences. The structured program is the equivalent of five semesters completed consecutively over two years in a face-to-face format.
A linkage opportunity with Drexel University College of Medicine has been established for successful students upon completing the PMED program. Additional affiliates include Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine, Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine, Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and the Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine.
The curriculum offers the prerequisite science courses required by most health professional schools, electives, and a formal MCAT review course at no additional charge.
