Academic Services and Advising
Drexel is focused on student success and provides a wide variety of opportunities that allow our Dragons to enhance and maximize their scholastic growth.
Every student undertakes their own unique academic journey. Along the way, many find that they would benefit from a knowledgeable guide or additional support services to ensure they remain on track and positioned to achieve their goals.
Academic Advising
Our dedicated team of academic advisors is here to help both undergraduate and graduate students with everything from planning a Program of Study and registering for courses to monitoring degree progression and identifying appropriate support structures to overcome unforeseen challenges.
Resources and Support
The ARC (Academic Resource Center) serves as an integrated hub of on-campus academic support services for students, providing tutoring, academic coaching, workshops, specialized courses, and dedicated study space. Located in the Korman Center, the ARC provides support for a wide variety of subjects, such as math, physics, biology, and more — all in one convenient location. In addition, the Center for Autism and Neurodiversity (CAN) is a student-centered program that provides support for current neurodivergent Drexel students in the areas of academics, social competency, self-advocacy, interpersonal skills, independent living, and social integration in order to develop the academic and social skills needed to pursue and sustain career opportunities.
Enhanced Academic Opportunities
For students looking to truly push beyond the boundaries of the typical college experience and make the most of everything our University has available, we offer a variety of enhanced academic opportunities that allow our Dragons to widen the scope of their learning, including the Pennoni Honors College, participation in advanced research, community-based learning, and our Study Abroad program.
Graduate College
Overseeing all University graduate programs and graduate student organizations, the Graduate College serves as a student advocate and works to ensure our graduate-level Dragons remain positioned for success. By partnering with University offices and collaborating with our deans, faculty, and professional staff, the Graduate College connects students to academic advising and support services, graduate student-specific professional development events, and more.
