Although most departments at Drexel operate on an academic calendar consisting of four 10-week quarters, there are a number of programs that operate on a unique academic calendar. Browse through our Course Catalog for detailed information regarding departments, majors, plans of study, and University policies. Drexel is undertaking a bold Academic Transformation designed to align our distinctive strengths, academic structure, and strategic goals with our mission to prepare students for success in a rapidly evolving world. As part of this multi-year initiative, we will transition to a semester calendar, restructure several Colleges and Schools, and bolster our curriculum to better reflect the needs of today’s learners and tomorrow’s leaders. While these changes may lead to updates in academic programs, they are not expected to significantly disrupt students’ current plans of study. Every aspect of this transition is being carefully planned to ensure continuity, with a strong commitment to supporting students throughout the process.
