Housing Accommodations Based on a Disability

All requests for reasonable accommodations are considered on a case-by-case basis and should be submitted to the Disability Resources office. Do not send any personal documentation to the Housing and Residence Life office. More information about registering with Disability Resources including links to the Request for Accommodations Form and Documentation Requirements can be found on the Disability Resources website.

For First-Year and Transfer Students:

The deadline for submitting a housing accommodation request and supporting medical documentation is April 30. Students must also formally apply for housing through Housing and Residence Life and submit the housing deposit by May 15 in order to be considered for housing accommodations. Requests received after May 15 cannot be guaranteed and will be based on current availability.

For Second-Year and Upper-Class Students:

The deadline for submitting a housing accommodation request and supporting medical documentation is April 1. Students must also formally apply for housing through Housing and Residence Life and submit their housing deposit by April 1 in order to be considered for housing accommodations. Applications received after the deadline may be placed on a waiting list and may only be granted based on availability.
