Systems Engineering
A systems engineering master’s degree helps develop engineers into visionary leaders with an understanding of the entirety of a system. As a student, you will gain the skillsets uniquely required of effective managers seeking to improve efficiency and effectiveness of an organization and its operations, from financial management to conceptual development and lifecycle oversight. Unlike discipline-specific engineering, systems engineering coursework will develop and expand capabilities by providing a multidisciplinary background needed for holistic decision-making and design thinking required to manage complex interconnected technologies and systems. Students may complete a Certificate in Systems Engineering, certified by the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) or several related graduate certificates as a stand-alone pursuit or as a gateway to the full Master's of Science in Systems Engineering.
