Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics
A master’s degree in mechanical engineering and mechanics prepares professionals to take on the rapid changes in design, construction, and use of machines due to advances in computing, materials, manufacturing, and communications. Students explore the frontiers of the human-machine interface that seeks to address the challenges in industry and society. The courses in our PhD and master's degrees are flexible to students' interests, with specializations in manufacturing, mechanics and materials, robotics, and thermal and fluid sciences. The MS in Mechanical Engineering is offered on both a full-time and part-time basis with graduate co-op program as an optional three or six-month work experience that propels students to their career goals.
