Economics
The Economics program from Drexel LeBow's School of Economics integrates training in core economics, quantitative methods, and policy analysis to give students an understanding of how markets and economies function. This STEM-designated program provides a solid foundation in the more technical areas of economics, including micro- and macroeconomic theory, statistics, and econometrics.
The master's program is ideal for those interested in becoming practitioners in the industry, the financial sector, government, regulatory agencies, or international organizations. As a course of study, it can lead to diverse career opportunities by equipping students with a robust understanding of market systems, major economic institutions, incentive structures, and economic policy and development.
The PhD program in Economics prepares economists for academic research as well as careers in government or industry by providing a solid background in economic theory, quantitative analysis, and analytical tools at the advanced level.
