Business Analytics
The STEM-designated MS in Business Analytics program is designed for students who have an interest in quantitative methods, data analysis, and using computer programs to solve business problems. Students learn how to access and analyze data for the purpose of improved business decision-making. To prepare students to make good business decisions, the program works with fact-based insights and an understanding of business performance from a systems view — using statistical and quantitative analysis of data as well as explanatory and predictive modeling. The program draws upon three traditional areas of business intelligence: statistics, operations research, and management information systems.
