The Certificate in Collaborative Special Education Law and Process is designed for special education teachers, administrators, parents, and advocates seeking to meet the needs of children with disabilities through school-family-community collaboration. School-family-community collaboration is the ambitious goal of educational policy in the United States. Program participants will be provided the legal knowledge and practical collaboration skills needed to support the education of all students, including those with disabilities. A teacher certification is not required, and there is no required course sequence or course prerequisites. This program is offered online and can be completed in one to two years.
