The series offers information and advice on personal financial management from a variety of industry experts. It is meant to promote financial wellness for students and postdocs, especially those preparing to graduate and move on to careers in academia or industry.

Description: Our most anticipated workshop! Taxes - You can't avoid them so you might as well understand them. This workshop is intended to give you a basic understanding of how federal taxes are calculated as well as how every financial decision you make from choosing employee benefits, home purchases to marriage and investing impacts your taxes. You will also have a better understanding of how taxes interplay with student loan repayments. Includes information about Form 1098-T for graduate students with qualifying assistantships and fellowships.
