Developing a Research Plan Statement for the NSF GRFP (Workshop 2 of 4)

Tuesday, July 5, 2022

5:30 PM-7:00 PM

The National Science Foundation’s Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) provides selected fellows with three years of funding, including a living stipend and tuition funds, to support the research phase of their doctoral degree. The current application cycle is open to US citizens planning to begin a research-focused graduate program in Fall 2023, or who will be in the 1st or 2nd year of a PhD in STEM or the Social Sciences in Fall 2022.

This second of four GRFP application workshops will cover how to develop and refine an effective research plan statement, one of the most important parts of your application. Attendees who have already worked with a faculty mentor to define the basics of their project idea will be positioned to get the most out of this workshop. You do not need to have attended the previous workshop to benefit from this one! You can find preparatory materials for this workshop, as well as materials from the previous workshop, at https://drexel0.sharepoint.com/sites/Pennoni-UREP-Public/Fellowships/SitePages/NSF-GRFP-Workshops-and-Events.aspx
