Scholarships to Advance Women in STEM

This session will share information on scholarship programs that support undergraduate and graduate study, extracurricular research experiences, and professional development for women and gender minorities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields in which women are generally underrepresented.
 
In addition to information on how to identify scholarships and develop a strong application, the session will provide information on STEM awards that give particular consideration to women and gender minorities, including the Society of Women Engineers Scholarships, the American Association of University Women Underrepresented Professions Scholarship, the Women TechMakers Scholarship, Microsoft Scholarships, and the Amelia Earhart Fellowship.
