Description: This workshop will cover the basics of effective communication and help prepare scholars to present their work in the form of both oral and poster presentations. Attendees will practice utilizing a narrative framework to communicate their scholarly work and learn best practices for effectively creating and using visual aids across different types of presentations.

Please note that some programs/departments/disciplines may have specific guidance on or requirements for oral and poster presentations. This session is meant to provide general, interdisciplinary guidance in accordance with the requirements for submission to the annual Drexel Emerging Graduate Scholars (DEGS) Conference.
