What is one goal or initiative you have for the international student community this year?
I am an international student myself and aware how decision of moving to a new country is courageous and difficult at the same time. Initial weeks of the college can be overwhelming with new people, diverse culture, and different time zones. One of my main goals would be make people feel at Home, away from Home. Help international students with smooth transition, make them feel inclusive by hosting events which will be fun, resourceful, and engaging to make new connections.
What is one thing you are looking forward to this year?
I am looking forward to meeting new people. One of my interests being travel, I want to explore this new country and experience different cultures.
What made you run for your position in IGSA?
When I was enrolling for fall 2022, I used multiple sources to seek information about various things like visa, travel, finalising courses etc. I am aware of the anxiety that is created amongst students about not receiving the right information at the right time. Now that I have been through this process and have the awareness myself, I want to impart right guidance to the new international students. Further, I look forward to experience new culture and make new connections amongst the Drexel community.

What is one goal or initiative you have for the international student community this year?
Every international student deserves to enjoy their time on campus while away from home. University should be a one-stop destination for academics, volunteer work, and endless fun. My goal is to motivate international grads to take part in social activities, although with demanding coursework, so that they can make connections and memories that last a lifetime.
What is one thing you are looking forward to this year?
I aim to meet new people from across the world, get to know their culture, and eventually make some of them my 2.A.M buddies. I'm eager to spend this year hanging out on campus and contributing to, organizing, and taking part in a variety of entertaining and engaging social events.
What made you run for your position in IGSA?
I have always enjoyed socializing. Therefore, it goes without saying that I applied for the position of Director of Social Events at IGSA. By planning exciting events, my job allows me to relive my undergraduate years. I wish to help the international students feel a little less homesick by accompanying and communicating while they engage in leisure activities in the same way they would with friends and family back home.
