Speech-Language Pathology

A master's degree is the standard credential in the profession of speech-language pathology (SLP). With an emphasis on a sound background in the biomedical sciences, interprofessional education and clinical skills, graduates of this full-time, lock-step master's degree program will receive the necessary education and training to become integral members of today's healthcare and education teams, and future leaders in their profession. The opportunity to interact with students and faculty from other programs will afford SLP students a unique and valuable perspective not found in all SLP programs. Early clinical experiences are the hallmark of this program, with students completing several on- and off-campus rotations across al five semesters of the curriculum.

The Post-baccalaureate Program in Speech-Language Pathology is designed to prepare students to excel academically and professionally by providing a rigorous, holistic and comprehensive experience that will establish a foundation necessary for their success in the field of SLP and assist in entry into a graduate program. Selected courses in the Post-baccalaureate Program are open to non-degree seeking students wishing to expand their knowledge and skills in speech-language pathology, with most courses available on an a la carte basis.
