Summary: Mutual funds manage millions in retirement savings, but who manages them? In this presentation I will be discussing the importance of mutual fund governance, what research has found so far, and some potential areas for future exploration.

No Publicity is Bad Publicity: How Negative Buzz Increases Awareness and Purchase Incentive
PhD, Marketing, LeBow College of Business

Summary: The study examines how firms can benefit from negative publicity using time series analysis. We find that even established firms can take benefit of the negative publicity. Our study also finds that accounting for negative buzz in the marketing mix leads to more accurate predictions of future purchase intent.
