Welcome Graduate Students - Winter Quarter 2022

2017 Orientation: Welcome New Dragons

December 16, 2021

Congratulations and welcome to graduate education at Drexel University!

Whether you are beginning your graduate study on campus, in a hybrid format, remotely, or fully online, the Graduate College is pleased to welcome you to our graduate community!

Before you begin your studies, we would like to share some general information and resources to help you get started.*

*Be sure to also check in with your graduate academic advisor about any college, school, department or program-specific orientation, onboarding or training programs, some of which may be mandatory. International students (F-1 and J-1) are also required to complete an online orientation with International Students and Scholars Services (ISSS). For more information, please contact isss@drexel.edu.

If local, we encourage you to visit the Graduate College office space in the Main Building (Suite 301, 3rd Floor, 3141 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104) to learn more about the resources and services available. We offer free coffee, tea, and water for graduate students. Stop by any time during office hours. We also have a Graduate Student Lounge space on the lower level of the Main Building which is open 24/7 for graduate students and accessible by DragonCard photo ID. New students will have access beginning the first week of classes.

Be sure to visit our website for the latest graduate student news and events.

We also encourage new, incoming students to check in with the Graduate Student Association (GSA) and/or International Graduate Student Association (IGSA) for upcoming programs, events, and ways to get involved. You can also search for student organizations and events on DragonLink.

More information about orientation offerings can be found on the Graduate College website.
