We won't understand the history unless we know the history. Experience the stories, & understand why you cannot afford to be silent.

Please join us for the opening reception for Standing on the Shoulders of Heroes and Never Silent, an exhibition presented by the Stonewall National Museum Archives & Library.

Standing on the Shoulders of Heroes is a constantly growing exhibit that introduces us to those in our community who have made a recognizable difference in the lives of people within our community. Some changed the cultural landscape, others politics, and yet others our daily lives. All deserve to be celebrated.

Never Silent looks at the juxtaposition between those events, individuals, and the realities we face. Some are positive, some, like banning books, are harmful and dangerous, while speaking and coming out can save lives. Based on history, are we moving in the right direction?

The exhibition will be on display in the URBN Center lobby of the Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts & Design at Drexel University from April 16th - April 23rd, 24th hosts a private event. Accessible hours are Monday through Friday, from 10am - 4pm EST.

To gain entrance to the building, please contact Tashera Dean at 215-895-2319, either when you arrive, or to schedule time in advance. Tashera will grant you access for a self-guided viewing.
