This National Public Health Week, join the Dornsife School of Public Health Office of Education and Dean's Office for Overdose Prevention and Reversal Training provided by the Division of Substance Use Prevention and Harm Reduction from the City's Department of Public Health.
We will cover some background info about opioids, the overdose crisis nationally and locally here in Philadelphia, some info about our local drug supply, how to recognize and respond to an overdose, and offer a practical training on how to administer Naloxone (Narcan). Open to students, staff and faculty across Drexel University who are interested in building their public health awareness and skillset in this area.
