New Additions highlights the art and objects accessioned by the Drexel Founding Collection from 2021-2023. These new acquisitions are used for a variety of classes at Drexel University including hands-on experience for students as well as for the enjoyment of the greater Drexel community.
The original Drexel Museum was established to supplement the learning of students attending Drexel Institute of Art, Science and Industry. Today, we continue to focus on the educational value of art and cultural objects to the Drexel community. This exhibition demonstrates how these new pieces reflect our commitment to our mission and provide an insight into how the collection is an asset to the Drexel experience.
Curated by Mary Elizabeth Kulesa, Museum Leadership '24, Priya Vaswani, Photography & Art History '24, Kasia Bunofsky, Entertainment and Arts Management '24, and designed by Will Schumacher, Graphic Design & Fine Arts '24.
The exhibition is free and open to the public.
