High school students in engineering lab

The A.J. Drexel Nanomaterials has a long and established history of working with local high schools and teachers to educate the next generation of scientists and engineers. The DNI facilitates annual trips to Drexel from area high schools, and hosts a select number of high school students for research internships each year. Previously, the DNI, in coordination with the University of Pennsylvania, hosted a NSF Research Experiences for Teachers (RET) program called RET-NANO. At this time, we are no longer actively recruiting participants for the RET-NANO program.
