As artificial intelligence penetrates more facets of society, preparing the next generation to steer, manage, and harness the technology in work and life becomes increasingly important.
The College of Computing & Informatics’ premier summer program, Drexel Digital Development Camp—VirtuaQuest, prepares high schoolers and accepted rising first-year CCI students to take charge and succeed in this fast-changing environment.
In the summer of 2025, 87 campers joined CCI faculty and counselors on a three-week, experiential odyssey, exploring the latest developments of accelerating technology in four ways:

Valuable Final Projects Demonstrating Lessons Learned
- For their final projects, campers, using the skills they learned during camp lectures and workshops, worked in teams of 4-5 using Meta Quest 3 headsets to create a game in a virtual environment.
The Auerbach Cybersecurity Camp Scholarship provided funding for 26 students in 2025.
A highlight of the camp is the Auerbach Cybersecurity Camp Scholarship, which provides funding for students passionate about cybersecurity. This year, 26 students received the scholarship, covering their camp registration fee and making the program more accessible for those eager to further their education in this critical field.
Planning for next summer’s Digital Development Camp—VirtuaQuest is underway. Check our Summer Programs page in spring 2026 for registration and programming details.
