Students crossing street on Drexel campus

Center for Autism and Neurodiversity

Our goal is to ensure that participants take advantage of University life, develop the academic and social skills needed to pursue career opportunities, and lead a full and enriched life.

The Center for Autism and Neurodiversity (CAN) — formerly known as DASP — is a fee-based, student-centered program for current neurodivergent Drexel students with the goal of promoting academic and social competency, self-advocacy, interpersonal skills, independent living, and social integration. View our video below to learn more about how we support students.

Apply to CAN

CAN provides varying levels of fee-based support tiers based on individual student needs. If an admitted Drexel student wishes to apply to CAN, a CAN application (link below) along with confirmation of their Drexel admission must be submitted to CAN@drexel.edu by May 15 (June 1 for 2024–2025). If you are unsure which tier is best for you or your student, you're encouraged to reach out to us at CAN@drexel.edu for that too.
