Computing and Information Science Scholarships
The College of Computing & Informatics is proud to offer a wide array of scholarships to its incoming freshmen, undergraduate and graduate students with outstanding academic achievements or demonstrated financial need.
The College offers scholarships in two categories:
- Merit-based awards are given to CCI students in recognition of consistent academic excellence (such as GPA, Dean’s list)
- Need-based awards are given to CCI students with demonstrated financial need through the FAFSA
CCI also offers scholarships to incoming undergraduate students as part of its major initiative to increase the recruitment and retention of women and those who support the advancement of women in the computing and information science fields to help close the gender gap in technology. Scholarships have been awarded for the 2019-2020 academic year.
CCI encourages students to seek out private/outside scholarships to aid in funding their education at Drexel. Students may find these opportunities through the many student chapters of professional associations, networking events, or through the College’s weekly student e-newsletter (students are automatically subscribed upon enrollment).
Each year, CCI faculty and industry partners recognize computing students for excellence in academics and research, leadership skills, and service to the University/College. Please click here to view CCI annual awards and previous recipients.
