Presented by the CCI's DEI Council, the Office of Alumni Relations, and the Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation. This virtual event featured CCI Associate Professor Michelle Rogers, PhD and alumna Quincy Brown, PhD computer science ’09, who is a senior policy advisor in the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP). Their conversation focused on the theme of diversity in STEM and the continuing education and employment gap for women, particularly Black women, and Latinas, as discussed in the April 2021 report by Pew Research Center, "STEM Jobs See Uneven Progress in Increasing Gender, Racial and Ethnic Diversity."
