On-Campus Housing Options

Find a Home That Meets Your Needs

With approximately 4,000 students, the residential community at Drexel University is composed of several housing options for first-year, transfer, returning, and graduate students. These options include traditional, hybrid, or suite-style living and all provide mailboxes for each student, free laundry, and communal spaces for entertaining guests. Plus, all Drexel and Drexel-affiliated housing options offer flexible co-op agreement options.

First-Year Housing at Drexel

Drexel offers multiple unique housing options for first-year students to satisfy the 2-Year Residency Program requirements that cater to individual needs and lifestyles. First-year students may choose from Bentley Hall, Caneris Hall, Kelly Hall, Millennium Hall, North Hall, Race Street Residences, Towers Hall, or Van Rensselaer.

Upper-class and Transfer Housing Options

Upper-class and transfer students are not required to live on campus; however, many choose to live in a Drexel Residence Hall for its convenient location, flexible terms (reserve to stay by academic term), and the ability to pay via the Drexel eBill. Upper-class and transfer students are invited to live in suite-style housing on the University City Campus and Bentley Hall is available to upper-class students who are accepted into the Living Learning Community. And, by invitation from the organization, a Drexel fraternity or sorority house is another housing option.

Current students and confirmed transfer students may apply in DrexelOne (the Campus+Community tab) any time after the application opens.

Additionally, there are three Drexel-affiliated residential properties on campus, managed by American Campus Communities, which many upper-class and transfer students enjoy living. Students seeking off-campus housing options may find the Off-Campus Housing Website to be a valuable resource. 

Graduate Housing

Graduate students are invited to live in suite-style housing on the University City Campus and may apply in DrexelOne (the Campus+Community tab) any time after the application opens.

Drexel-Affiliated Housing

Chestnut Square, The Summit, and University Crossings are Drexel's affiliated-housing properties operated by American Campus Communities (ACC). Leasing with ACC provides independent living options for our upper-class students.
