Moving Into Stiles Hall

We look forward to welcoming you to Stiles Hall on the Center City Campus. View a Drexel Center City Campus Map. 

Stiles Hall is located between Broad Street and 15th Street and sits between Wood Street and Vine Street. Our exact address is 325 N. 15th Street; Philadelphia, PA 19102. The main entrance to Stiles Hall is halfway down the building on the Vine Street side. During move-in the best place to unload is on Wood Street. Please review your "Important Move-In Information" email message sent from Housing and Residence Life which outlines the resources available to students and families for move-in and check-in.

Check-in

On arrival, students must visit the Housing and Residence Life office (Room 110) located on the first floor near the mailboxes. A Housing and Residence Life team member will provide a room key. Students and families will receive wristbands for building access during move-in.

DragonCard

Students can view their housing assignment and roommate information via the 'Housing and Dining' Portal. The DragonCard is the official University ID card and is issued from the Center City DragonCard Office. A valid government-issued identification card is required for DragonCard issuance. To expedite this process, you may upload your photo to the DragonCard Office. Instructions and examples of successful uploads are available for your review.

Moving Carts

A limited number of moving carts will be available from the Stiles Hall front security desk. A DragonCard or valid government-issued photo identification card is required to check out a moving cart. Students and families can check out one (1) moving cart during their Move-In time.

Packages

Stiles Hall cannot accept packages prior to you moving in. Deliveries can be made after you have checked in. University and Student Services (USS) provides a package delivery service for a fee. Schedule package delivery with USS prior to check-in.

Residential Guests Policy

Guests will receive a wristband to assist with move-in. Once move-in hours are over, wristbands will no longer be a valid form of entry into the building. Guests must sign into the building using a valid form of identification and adhere to Drexel's standard guest policy.

Things to Bring

Disinfecting Supplies

University Facilities provides custodial services to communal spaces. Students must bring disinfecting supplies for private spaces. Product recommendations include disinfecting wipes, hand sanitizer, and gloves. For more information regarding Cleaning and Disinfecting, please review the information at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website.

Furnished Apartments

• Kitchen: A full-size refrigerator and freestanding range are provided. A microwave is not provided.
• Bedroom: An extra-long twin bed, desk, desk chair and wardrobe are provided. Residents must bring a lamp as there are no overhead lights.
• Living Area: A 3-seater couch, kitchen table and four kitchen chairs are provided.
• Bathroom: Residents must bring toilet paper and trash bags. A shower curtain is provided.

We strongly encourage you to provide your own moving device as moving carts are available on a first come, first served basis from the front desk. 

Roommate Information

Roommate and housing assignment information can be found online through the Drexel Housing Portal. To access the Drexel Housing Portal, students should log in to DrexelOne and select the Housing and Dining channel under the Campus+Community tab. Then, select the housing application you completed and you will be taken to the "Application Status" page where you can view your assignment details.

Moving Out of Stiles Hall

When your time at Stiles comes to an end it is important that you follow the appropriate steps to check out.

Check Out Steps

1. Remove all belongings to avoid charges.
2. Complete the Check-Out Envelope located by the Stiles Hall Office.
3. Insert room key and mailbox key in Check-Out Envelope.
4. Seal Check-Out Envelope.
5. Drop Check-Out Envelope to the Check-Out Box located by the Stiles Hall Office on your way out.

Residents who fail to follow these procedures are subject to damage fees. View the most common damage fees.
