Transfer Instant Decision Days
Submitting a college application doesn't have to mean weeks of waiting for a decision. Prospective transfer students can make an appointment to meet with an admissions counselor and receive an admission decision that day.
Westphal Instant Decision Days Upcoming Dates
Instant Decision Days for students interested in Drexel's Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts & Design will take place on:
- Wednesday, March 23
- Wednesday, April 13
- Wednesday, May 18
- Wednesday, June 22
- Wednesday, July 20
Appointments are open to applicants interested in all Westphal College of Media Arts & Design programs except for Music Industry.

Appointments are open to full-time transfer students only interested in all programs except:
- Custom-Designed Major
- Nursing Accelerated Career Entry (ACE)
- Westphal College of Media Arts & Design

Apply Online Before Scheduling Your Appointment
You must have an active application on file for the term you are applying for before your appointment. Please note that if you utilize The Common Application, it may take up to seven days after submitting the application for it to be active in the University's records.
As part of our ongoing effort to support students as they navigate circumstances resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, we are currently waiving the application fee for transfer applicants through the fall of 2022.
What to Send Ahead of Your Appointment
Students who have completed fewer than 24 college credits:
- High school transcript
- Standardized test scores are welcome, but not required. (Refer to our standardized testing policy for specific requirements.)
- College transcripts from all institutions attended
Students who have completed 24 or more college credits:
- College transcripts from all institutions attended
In order for you to meet with an admissions counselor and receive a decision, please note the following:
- You must email all official transcripts and test scores (including military transcripts if applicable) to transferadmissions@drexel.edu at least 24 hours before your appointment. Unofficial transcripts are acceptable.
- Letters of recommendation are welcome, though not required.
The University reserves the right to request additional information to aid in the proper review of your file; in such cases, your transfer instant decision may be delayed.
