Virtual Tuesday/Thursday Events for Transfer Students

When you look back on your decision to transfer six months, three months, or even one month ago, you likely didn't factor in a pandemic when considering schools. Regardless of what we want to happen, it's something that will have a lasting impact on decisions we make for the foreseeable future and choosing your next college or university is no exception. At Drexel, we want you to know we're here for you through this.

I’m sure you're receiving plenty of emails from all the places you've given your email to, but it's my sincere hope through reading this that you feel understood and feel like there are people you can talk with. We know doing things virtually is oftentimes more nerve-wracking than a face-to-face conversation, but we'll be here to support you through it all. Through email, phone calls, or chat rooms, my colleagues and I are ready and willing to answer questions in a way that is most convenient for you during this time.

Our Transfer Tuesday/Thursday events are some of my favorite days working at Drexel. I love interacting with prospective students, easing fears, and, overall (hopefully), making the process a little easier to navigate. Unfortunately, during this time, we haven't been able to meet face-to-face, so we've been able to do the next best thing. We will still be conducting these events, with the same presentation you would receive on campus, via the virtual Zoom platform. You'll be able to learn a little more about the University, what cooperative education is and what it means at Drexel, and the steps you can take to apply to transfer. During this event, one of the transfer admissions representatives will be in the chat during the presentation able to answer all questions you may have at the conclusion of the presentation.

Please feel free to reach out to your transfer admissions representative. We're happy to assist in any way we can! One of the things I love most about Drexel is the caring nature of individuals all across the University. I can say that I have grown closer (while maintaining social distancing) to many of my colleagues and utilized the energy present in so many aspects of this University to assist students like yourselves. We know it's a strange and difficult time for many and we hope we can make your decision to transfer to Drexel one of the easier ones you can make during this time.
