Vision Rehabilitation Therapy
Both the Master of Science and Certificate Vision Rehabilitation Therapy (VRT) programs prepare professionals with expertise in related professions (for example, occupational therapy, social work, gerontology, rehabilitation, special education in visual impairment, O&M, et cetera) to provide comprehensive vision rehabilitation therapy services (adaptive activities of daily living/independent living skills) to blind or visually impaired individuals across the lifespan, specifically adults/older adults.
The VRT Programs can be taken on a full-time or part-time basis and are mostly delivered online, with an 8-10 week summer on-campus residency, and an internship.
