Undeclared students are welcome at Drexel and are well served by the University's strong emphasis on career preparation. "Undeclared" can mean that you are still considering your area of study. It can also mean that you have narrowed down your interest to media, but you're not sure what career field to focus on.
Students who are interested in media arts and design should select the undeclared option because these students need to enroll in specific first-year classes (which still count toward the degree if the student ultimately majors in a non-technical area).
This program is not available to transfer students.
Students in this program may not track into the Music Industry program.

Entrepreneurship and Innovation
Entrepreneurship is about being proactive, opportunistic, and innovative. The Close School of Entrepreneurship's program in Entrepreneurship and Innovation is designed to prepare students to think and act entrepreneurially, in the context of established companies, in working for small and growing ventures, in starting a new venture or self-employment, and in an overall general approach to their personal and professional lives. Within this innovative curriculum, students build entrepreneurial skills such as resilience, opportunity recognition, self-efficacy, negotiation, and effective communication. The program emphasizes interdisciplinary coursework in collaboration with other Drexel colleges and schools, providing entrepreneurship students with the opportunity to take classes with future engineers, scientists, artists, and business and community leaders. In 2019, the Close School of Entrepreneurship at Drexel University was ranked by The Princeton Review as one of the top 25 undergraduate schools for Entrepreneurship education for a second, consecutive year. Currently, the Close School's undergraduate program is the only ranked program in the entire region (PA, NJ, DE).
Transfer students may only enroll for the fall or winter term.

Students who wish to choose a major in computing and information science, but are still deciding on a specific major, can apply for the computing and information science – undeclared major. By the end of winter term of their first year, these students will be asked to select a more specific major in the College of Computing and Informatics.

Entrepreneurship and Innovation (Three-Year Option)
The three-year BA in Entrepreneurship and Innovation program is a unique, accelerated plan of study that teaches entrepreneurship as a habit-of-mind that applies to both the student's career and life. This holistic approach to teaching challenges students to think and act as an entrepreneur within companies, startups, or self-employment. Students will learn resilience, collaboration, negotiation, and communication as well as how to manage growth, secure funding, or manage a family firm. The curriculum stresses interdisciplinary work and flexibility with all Drexel schools through the required academic minor and offering three-year students advanced experiential learning in the exclusive Entrepreneurship Practicum.
