About: Dr. Jankowski was the medical director of trauma and surgical critical care at Hahnemann University Hospital. He received his DO from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and where he also completed his general surgery residency. He is fellowship trained in surgical critical care/trauma from Christiana Care Health System. Dr. Jankowski has a strong interest in health care simulation technology and its application to resident and medical student education. He is a certified healthcare simulation educator (CHSE) and is actively involved in developing educational opportunities utilizing simulation for students and residents.

About: Brendan McCracken, MD, FACS, was an attending trauma surgeon in the Division of Trauma and Critical Care at Hahnemann University Hospital as well as an assistant professor of surgery at Drexel University College Of Medicine. Dr. McCracken completed both his medical degree and surgical residency at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. His specialty training in surgical critical care was completed at UNC Hospitals of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. McCracken has presented primary research at national meetings, organized a symposium for police tactical units in response to civilian casualties during active shooter scenarios, and was a former director of pediatric trauma at Inova Fairfax Hospital in northern Virginia. He is double board certified in general surgery and surgical critical care, is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and maintains memberships in the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma and the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
