College of Computing & Informatics
Drexel's College of Computing & Informatics has long been recognized as a leader in the field of information science and technology and offers graduate programs at the certificate, master's, and doctoral levels, including post-bachelor's and post-master's certificates. The Master of Science in Information's Library and Information Science graduate major is ranked among the top library science programs in the nation, according to U.S. News & World Report's "America's Best Graduate Schools." The College's national rankings for its specialties in digital librarianship, information systems, and services for children and youth all rank in the top 10.
The College of Computing & Informatics' educational and research programs integrate information technology, information content, organizational forces, and business strategy to prepare professionals to provide information services and systems to a wide variety of institutions. Classes are offered on a full- or part-time basis and in a variety of formats; most programs are offered online. Professional development programs are offered in diverse areas, and students pursuing master's degrees may also choose to participate in Practicum or Graduate Co-op.
