The Freeman Awards for Study in Asia (Freeman-ASIA) provide grants of up to $7,000 to support American undergraduates with demonstrated financial need who are planning to study overseas in East or Southeast Asia. Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents with a minimum GPA of 2.8, planning to spend at least 8 weeks in one of the following countries: Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Laos, Macao, Malaysia, Mongolia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, or Vietnam. Come learn about the award, support available for applicants, and tips for crafting a strong application.
