Thermal and Fluid Sciences provides students with a background in fluid motion, heat transfer, combustion, HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), and applied thermodynamics. These courses prepare students for careers in one of thousands of large and small companies where the transfer of liquids, gases, and/or energy from one location to another is required. Potential employers include companies in the aerospace, automotive, chemical processing, power generation, and HVAC industries.
