Event Request Form

Guidelines

  • Events are not finalized until you receive an email confirmation from CCI Operations Team. Please reach out to dr366@drexel.edu if you do not receive email confirmation within 2 business days.
  • If you need to make any changes to your event, you will need to submit a new event form so that we can process the change.
  • To receive adequate logistical and marketing support for your event, this form must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to the event date.
  • Classroom space can only be reserved for the current term. If your event is for a future term, your room reservation will be confirmed once the CCI class schedule is finalized.
  • CCI's normal business hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. We are only able to provide staff support for events scheduled during normal business hours. We are unable to accommodate weekend-specific (Saturday & Sunday) events.
  • Space may be available at 3675 Market Street, 9th, 10th, and 11th floors. If you are a Drexel University student group and are looking for space outside of CCI, please contact reservations@drexel.edu for assistance.
  • If you are submitting an event on behalf of an official Drexel student organization, you will need to submit your request to the Student Activity Fee Allocation Committee (SAFAC).
  • For events requiring catering, an on-site contact (and phone number) must be provided. This contact will be on-site during the event to accept catering. You must also upload the email received from CCI finance with approval to order catering. This email should also include the fund and org number where catering will be charged
  • If minors will be attending the event, please review Drexel's Policy on Minors.

Space Management

  • Event hosts (student, student organization, faculty or professional staff) are responsible for post-event cleanup and space reset. Failure to do so may impact future event requests.
  • If you envision needing additional janitorial support for you event, please indicate in the "other" needs sections below.  There may be an additional cost associated with janitorial depending on the size and scope of the event.

Building Access

  • The event host must provide a building access plan for any non-CCI attendees.
  • A complete list of non-CCI guests must be submitted for CCIGuest@drexel.edu at least 2 days before the event.
  • Event host(s) will be responsible for handling guest check-in/registration in the 1st floor lobby. CCI Operations will work with 3675 management to ensure that space is available to set up a registration table.

Minors

  • Virtual events involving minors need to follow the same procedures as on-campus events.
