Historical Haunts

The Ghost Tour of Philadelphia 

A city steeped in history, Philadelphia is a top destination for ghost enthusiasts and history buffs alike. For those looking for some spooktacular fun, we recommend the renowned Ghost Tour of Philadelphia. Held nightly through November, this candlelit tour takes you on a chilling journey through Philadelphia's historic (and most definitely haunted) Old City and Society Hill neighborhoods.

Halloween Nights at Eastern State Penitentiary

Go behind the walls of Eastern State Penitentiary's annual Halloween Nights. This seasonal favorite features multiple haunted houses, chilling tours of the abandoned prison, and plenty of activities and live entertainment across the sprawling 10 acres of America's oldest penitentiary.

Game Day

Catch a game at Citizens Bank Park or Lincoln Financial Field. With the Phillies and Eagles seasons well underway, there are few better ways to experience the raw energy of Philadelphia than catching a game at the South Philadelphia Sports Complex. Whether you are a sports enthusiast or first-timer, there is no denying the excitement of game day in Philadelphia!

Panda Fest (October 4–5)

Panda Fest is a vibrant Asian food festival at Dilworth Park featuring an abundance of yummy treats. The two-day extravaganza also showcases Asian crafts and offers a variety of activities and live performances for attendees to enjoy. There's even a 15-foot inflatable panda!

OURfest (October 11–12)

OURfest (Our United Resilience Festival) is a fun, two-day festival in honor of National Coming Out Day and LGBTQIA+ History Month. Featuring America's first and only National Coming Out Parade, this weekend-long event is jam-packed with spectacular live performances, street vendors, and LGBTQIA+ community resources. 

Philadelphia Film Festival (October 12–26)

Founded by the Philadelphia Film Society, this 11-day spectacle showcases the year's most acclaimed films on silver screens across the city. Whether you consider yourself a cinephile, or you are just in the mood to see something new, you are sure to find something to enjoy among the 100+ films being featured.

Philly Coffee Festival (October 25–26)

College and coffee — what could go better together? Sample some of Philadelphia's best specialty roasters and coffee shops at the Philly Coffee Festival held at the historic 23rd Street Armory. Featuring live music from local artists, delicious bites, and all the caffeine one could possibly need, this event is sure to keep you buzzing.
