Finals Week at Drexel
Because we are on the quarter system, we have final exams during Week 11 of the term. What this means is that instead of having classes, we are testing for the entire week. Although the most stressful time of the term, it is also the time when the knowledge you gain from Drexel is really displayed.
I will grab some snacks from Northside Terrace and reserve a study room in the library, where we'll have a group study session
This week is currently the week before finals. During this week, I will wake up and treat myself to some coffee from Saxby's on campus. In between classes, I'll review notes and go to tutoring hours to ensure I understand the material fully. Tutoring is a free resource offered on campus. Also, starting Thursday before finals, the library is open 24 hours a day. This is the time when my friends and I will grab some snacks from Northside Terrace and reserve a study room in the library, where we'll have a group study session for as long as we need. The study rooms are open to all students in any major and are a great way to collaboratively work with classmates or have a private room for your own studying.
As stressful as it sounds, nothing beats the feeling of finishing the last exam and preparing for the spring break ahead! Spring break at Drexel is about a week and a half long and falls directly after the final exams. It gives the students a nice break before heading into the new academic term.
