What advice would you give to a high school student applying to college?

It’s never too early to get started on your college search. This is your decision, education, and future. Visiting campus, meeting current students, and connecting with professors will make the difference in deciding what the best school is for you.

Favorites

Place on Campus:

Mario the Magnificent Statue. I think dragons are cool creatures, and I like the fact that Drexel has one as a mascot. If you ever need a spirit animal when you visit campus, Mario is that animal.

Restaurant/Food Truck:

Halal trucks. I would not have survived college on a tight budget without falafel on rice. You get a lot of food and protein to fill you up at an affordable price.

Philadelphia Landmark/Location:

My favorite Philadelphia location is Lincoln Financial Field. The atmosphere and size make it a good place to experience when visiting Philly, especially if you like American football. Plus, it is a nice venue for concerts if you want a fun musical experience.
